Our Generative AI in Health Event and Startup Competition was a highlight of the year. It brought together visionary leaders, passionate founders, discerning judges, and supportive venture partners. We witnessed the unveiling of some of the most innovative products and companies that are shaping the future of healthcare. 👥 Welcoming New Talent 🌟
In 2023, HealthUnity expanded its leadership team by welcoming Carmen Wiedenhoeft as our new Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Paula Wall as a valued addition to our Board of Directors. Their expertise and dedication will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward. Our volunteers and collaborators have grown to almost 100 members!

We're proud to have closely collaborated with experts from prestigious institutions like National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Stanford University, UC Irvine, and the University of Toronto. Together, we've been working on developing essential metrics to guide the development of Conversational AI in healthcare. These partnerships are instrumental in ensuring that AI technologies make a positive impact on patient care and outcomes.

Ramesh C Jain, Iman Azimi Amir M. Rahmani and Mahyar Abbasian have been hard at work, and we're thrilled to announce the launch of OpenCha —an innovative project that holds the potential to revolutionize healthcare conversation. Stay tuned for more updates on this groundbreaking initiative in 2024.
